I wanted to say goodbye
I know that I don’t have to
Though this would be easiest
Seeing you again will only remind me
Of where I have failed
I wanted to give you my love
But you didn’t want it
I am so sad to have found this out
It makes me think of the things
That we will never do
I’ll never get to feel your love
I’ll never get to kiss you
I’ll never get to make love to you
All I will have is a memory
Of how I am not the one
This is why I must say goodbye
