Goodbye

I feel hurt, empty and cold,
like my heart has turned to ice.
It's a feeling new and old,
One I don't wish to feel twice.

All the memories are lost
All the warmth you gave to me,
Has become a thin line frost,
Like the frozen waves of sea.

I wish I could be so bold,
As to exercise my rights,
As the mate your soul can hold
For all times, on days and nights.

I can't bear to feel you lost,
I don't want to set you free,
But I fear the line was crossed,
So tonight I shall agree
And I say: goodbye, my dear.
