I've known lots of fellas who played guitar. The facade crumbles. Pink is my new favorite color. The eighteen year old stretched long and back; his shirt lifted. Eyes like half moons. I know his sins and want to hear the gory details. Turned my face away from the tightest belly I've seen in twenty-five years. Says he's only been with one woman. I leaned in and inhaled the spicy scent of him. Musk. Grabbed him by the back of the pants and sent him home.

For John (baby, I'm sorry. goodnight.)
