Got To Go On

Sometimes the world seems so big and cruel,
As if you're being pulled into a vast whirlpool.
Above water you try to keep your head,
But all you want to do is crawl back in bed.

Two steps forward, three steps back,
The weight of the world is your pack.
To make ends meet is your only goal,
At this point you're ready to sell your soul.

You can't see a light at the end of the tunnel,
It's as if you're looking through a funnel.
If it wasn't for your kids you'd give up and quit,
Your love for them won't let you just sit.

You got to go on.
