Great big hands and a growl as he breathed,
a smile on his face,
to see him we were always pleased,
a well turned out man,
that stood so grand,
he brought light to our lives and this land.
He was a proud man,
he stood by his word,
so creative by hand,
he was so in demand.
His wife loved him dearly, as did we all,
he was my best grandad and that is for sure.
