I listen
You speak your lies
I believe
You controll my life

You say that you will be there for me?
Where were you when I needed you most?
You say that you will love me for eternity?
That's a pretty long time for someone who can't remember who I am
The last time you hit me
You promised never to do it again...
want to see the hurt you caused,
By throwing things at me instead?

Supposedly you love me
And that is why you care more for my grades than my mental health?
I'm so fucking tired of your shit

You care more about what others think of you,
than what I'm thinking and feeling.

I will not listen to your crap about conforming to society
Fuck that
I will not listen to your shit about being accepted
Fuck you

I will have a life of my own
I will have children that I will cherish
I will give them love, support, and understanding
UNCONDITIONALLY

My children will not hear that they're stupid
My children will not hear that they're weak
They will love and be loved
They will care and be cared for
They will understand
And they will LIVE
