Click herei want a lipstick lesbian
in a pinstripe powersuit
with high heeled pumps
someone who shatters glass ceilings
and who wants
to be on a pedestal
(i like pedestals-
then i can see
her moist panties)
i want a bulldyke
with big hands
and flannel shirts
jeans a little too big
and a wry smile
who looks away shyly
when i meet her eyes
and is as good with a whip
as with her tongue
i want a femme
with long hair
and longer legs
who likes to be pampered
someone
who i can draw a bath for
and later worship
perfumed with roses
and the muskscent
of arousal
i want a carpetmuncher
with wicked eyes
and long slim fingers
the nails clipped short
(we all know what THAT means)
with indie rock hair
perfect little breasts
that fit in my hands
and a cd collection
that makes me cream
i want a grrrl
someone to get outraged with
who has all her books
on queer history
bookmarked and highlighted
who could rattle off
the names at Stonewall
and tell you every gay man
who was persecuted for his love
with full lips
equally made
for kissing
as for yelling at "the man"
i want a butch
in jeans and a button up
almost transparent white shirt
who never wears bras
(oh joy!)
and who keeps her hair
trimmed shorter
than her pubes
with big eyes
and doc martens
god
i just want a woman
any kind of woman
with soft skin
and the beautiful folds
of a pinkred pussy
with breasts i can lay my head on
and nipples
perfectly made for nibbling
a woman to snuggle up next to
and call my own
(and yes, i'm making fun of motley crue. :)
Where's the H? There should be an H. There will be - soon. This is the first poem of yours I've read. I'm going to look for more.
Tess
awesome, fast moving, full of alliteration and smooth flowing description. As Rybka said and I agree, the parenthesis do slow down or distract from the pace and images and are not really needed to make the poem stronger.
Ahh ~ she's back again for another day's fun;
and is she ever having fun here - enjoy!!
