This poem is for my own mental health.
Did we ever talk about my regret
that I never built a tree house for you?

now you won't go near a tree and drive
with cell phone duct taped to your ear
and I can't stop loving you

you look like me but with brains
cute and please
don't ever stop
growing up

but, that tree house…
