she comes home
to fell the safe feeling
to hide the hurt in the warmth
she finds here

to know she will always belong
in the shadows
where she can not bring hurt
the soul that wrecks havoc

the one that all believes in
hope they say makes the world turn
only this hope brings hurt
she's no angel not even something special

a fate worse than any
falls upon the ones she meets
a temptation to some
then the hurt comes
so she shall stay in the shadows
to hide away from all
so she can no longer bring the fall to them

she should have stayed
a nameless figure in the dark
now she has brought a great pain
the pain of guilty pleasure
