"haikus for lolly"

the flowers open...
the petals are shining with
tiny drops of dew.

the sun full of light
just like my satisfied heart...
i howl for your heat.

wind billows the lake...
sails filled with nourished breath
slicing thru the silence.

children are laughing
they are happy and playing games...
my heart is smiling.

sitting in a chair
on a porch watching the birds
fly from me to you.

the running water
makes a gurgling sound...singing
a wet symphony.

you are a rainbow
full of reflective colors
shining on my soul.

clouds shadow the sky...
sun slips out from behind and
life is bright again.

i can see more stars
in the sky because of you...
more room now to shine.

tuffy the alley cat
always come to visit me
in his search for love.

winter is over...
a soft southern breeze whispers
new meaning new life.
