So, what to do about it
down there?

First time the question’s
been asked of me,
Keep the hair
or go bare?

For many long years
it’s been untouched,
it simply hides
the crotch.

I didn’t know ladies
altered their bush.
I never thought
there was such fuss.

Keep it tidy, yes,
a little scissors trim
here and there.
But never bare.

Yet, Im told,
much has changed.
Think about bald,
it can be arranged

Or would you pick
the shape of a heart,
or landing strip?
It’s truly topiary art.

Again, what to do about it
down there?

You see my Big Day nears.
This naive virgin
is to be wed
and taken to bed.

On my wedding night,
what has for ever
been concealed
will be revealed.

That’s why, I’m advised,
a decision I must make.
Find out what pleases
my lovely man Jake.

But how to do it?
What to say?
I blush so easily.
I’ll leave it today.

Thinking more deeply,
shouldn’t the option
rest with me?
My choice, my body.

Anyway, Jake loves me
just as I am.
Don’t change, says he,
my darling Pam.

So, I’ll forget all about
going bare down there.
I’ll keep my curls
and see what unfurls.

hair

My generation grew up with hair. I want it an expect it, not just a little landing strip either.

Excellently said x

It's a subject that bothers us all and as 'bare' usually involves some degree of pain, I agree - leave the hair! Great fun x
