THIS summer is half way thru
THE humidity and damp
LEAVING me cold and aching
AND seriously missing you.
I look to the left of my computer
THERE you are staring back at me
I smile and pretend I can taste you
HOW handsome and beautiful
YOUR face is to me
I close my eyes and know
I will see you again soon,
WHEN the leaves are turning crimson
AND the skies are beautiful and blue
THE essence of this man, this soul
RAISES my spirit and always rocks
ME to the core
I laugh I remember love
FOR your love has taken it's hold
SEEMINGLY never to let go!

I see that all your poetry is for Jer

I'm sure he's pleased with what you write. I hope you get to see him very soon. :)
