Happy 64th birthday to me @(poem)

Happy 64th birthday to me,

A long year of countless cheers, jeers, & innovational technical arrears,

Vast, in avocation-al & situational, multidimensional romance,
Are the advances to a more prolific awakening,
En-trance,

Paradoxical & incongruous is my entire forward thinking of abstract original thoughts,

Are the ever-shifting paradigms of placation of a troubled world, less sought,

We all are from origins, of categorical-s of birth, too worth,

In time, we all experience laughter & sorrow, because for the many, their may never be a tomorrow,

However,
Sometimes, solace is only a simple state of mind,
Compounding inequities & trivial discrepancies, may consume too much of your limited & precious time,

My thoughts are laser, crystal clear & my message is always true,
You really can be & do anything, you really want to do,

If you ever learned anything from the words, I write,

Know your own purpose,
Know what really drives you, and expound,
Know yourself, & learn your own, life's plight,
Because true wisdom, has never been reserved for oracles of the second sight,

So what ever it is, in this world, that you think, you really do,

Make sure your projections, is never misunderstood or reads, misconstrue,
And if you're thought processes, projects an air of a never-ending budge,
Then just remember that never, however endeavor,
I am only a simple messenger, & not you're celestial judge.

Happy 64th birthday to me.

Everett C Borders Jr. Ph.D.

great sentiments and happy birthday!

a little too long and verbose, but nice message, note --academic degrees are not needed, sorry but did you ever see a poet who files any degree after his name dear Everett, even those from Harvard? I don't think so. No need for you to so either. Best wishes Sir, with consummate respect for you accomplishments!
