"/-Hard Edges-\"

I sleep with him beside me,

feeling protected within his range

He has hard edges, and can be cold and

He is silent most of the time,

but, when he goes off, his anger kills.

He always goes off around me.

I get sick of the day, his explosion will destroy someone

I've been trained to deal with him in that way.

His body, is all hard edges, sculpted and beautiful

but I can make him scream, with a flick of my finger

His emotions are loud and violent,

and after that, quiet again.

He is so quiet. So still, with all these, hard edges.

I sleep with him beside me,

and he took a life today,

with me.

but he is still cold,

with hard edges, and never to understand my pain

so I know he doesn't feel the same.
