At my age
they kneel for pity more
    than lust--

Never let anyone tell you
that taut skin
    doesn't matter, young bucks
teething their inside gospel
    as they watch the buttocks
    quiver and hold.

I'm the compost of those kids.
I've settled in
around the gut, my fingers
    shake, like
a vibrator crapping out.

I think sometimes
a girl likes it
    when I just
    touch her, just
stroke her back, or her ass
not inside or outside
    but there
    on the surface
where blushes and bruises bloom.
