Cigarettes have tiny orgasms on my back and chest
Each nipple burns and sings and stings
Under a demon baby’s breath
Don’t think of it as agony
Or as masochistic need
If it were, my flesh would taste a razor
Instead of just these teeth

Drop into this drive
Like sweat that rolls from hip to thigh
Feel the burn of fingernails
During the oblivion of bitten lip and shuddered eye
I see some turn away in horror
But hear others stifle sighs
They know from where I speak
And where I choose to lie
The others never have
And do not think they could
I tell you those who think this feels bad
Have never felt this good

This is yin and yang
Where animal meets the soul
Removing the mechanical
While fighting for control
Yet by wondering who would give up more
Or who would give up first
Who can take the most
Not who can give the worst
Notice, There are rarely discontents
From those who take the torture
For the one above may dole out
But it’s the one below who shouts the orders

In my time I’ve been both and know
The one on top just heeds
To carry out their duty
And fill the victim’s needs
