I heard you voice earlier
when I least expected it
It brought back all the longing feelings
the pain felt quite deliberate

I can not turn a corner
in this house that we once shared
Without still seeing you standing there
with all your actions that showed you cared

Every nook and cranny
still holds a ghost of you
They bring me to my knees
and make me feel so blue

No matter where I wander
whether it be outside or in
The ghost of you still finds me
and I fall apart from within

How long will your memory haunt me
and keep me afraid of moving on
How long will your ghosts confront me
and keep my walls so strong
