I sit here thinking
Of all that I’ve done in this world
And wonder.

Have I really made a difference
Does anyone really care
How will I be remembered

Did I do right by my kids
Will they be like me
Or better then I ever dreamed

Will my sins be cleansed
Can peace find its way
Or will torment be my path

Have I lived up to expectations
That was set before me
By others and myself

Is my father
Looking down with pride
Or just shaking his head once more

Is where I’m at now
A product of my youth
Where decisions are made from passion

These are questions
That haunt my being
Ghosts caressing my mind
