Have I told you lately how you changed my life?
How you reached out to me caressed my broken heart.
You seemed to know when I was coming online before I knew
I would get an instant message asking me 'How are you?'
My heart was shattered thirty-two years of marriage where did it go?
Your gentle tender wonderfully liberating views set me free.
You spoke to me softly but firmly, guided me around the corners
You stole my heart, wrapped it in the glitter of the Northern stars.
You handed it back. You wanted it to heal before you claimed it
You will get it this Christmas wrapped in golden strands of spun glass.
A velvet ribbon so beautifully tied making it where you will once again
have to claim it. The faint sound of Ready to take a chance again.
My love my treasure Merry Christmas you mend a heart with the strength
of a true artist using thier hands for making beauty out of wood.
Have I told you lately? Oh I sure hope so.
