Milk is good at midnight,
better still after you are still
and comfortably slumbering

In the room of small light
I see her moonlit ankles
peeking, pretending

So longness returns
slightly out of reach of lips.
Subtle crack of personality
and proportion due to chats on the round and sometimes oval bed.

So innocent we are in pursuit
finding new things each time.
I missed saying the sight of your
naked thighs with knee pulled
cotton, wrapped and ripped slightly
encourages renewal, tasting myself
in your folds
