He talked to her
Underneath the light of the moon
Told her it would all be good
She trusted him
Let him fill her up with his love
However never showing her true emotions
He doubted that love was there
Tried to find it in obscure places
Only to find a deeper emptiness
She never felt the need to tell him
She thought he knew
Never saw it coming
He gave up on her
Decided to move on
Thinking what he gave was never given back
