He’s Back

He’s back and with a vengeance, too
Angry that he was ever pushed aside at all
He’s out for blood, much more than ever before
He hungers for more than just a taste; he wants it all
And demands that I give it to him, willingly and with a smile

He’s back and he is eager to be witness to a deed most foul
Licking his parched lips and cackling with evil desire
Pain is his name and punishment his only goal
He collects his dues with the black and blue of my skin
And bathes in each drop of blood that drips from my soul

He’s back and there is no stopping him this time
He waited and watched, choosing just the right moment
To strike!
He will take what he feels is his; devouring carelessly
Enjoying the torture before him; drooling delightedly

He’s back and so I lay out a welcome mat in his honour
Bowing down to he who was always my master
Soothing his anger, I take up my weapons yet again
Letting him know that I will do as he commands
After all, what’s a little cut...
