He Said

bytangiblemorsel©

delirium of heated skin,
our breaths are fragrant clouds,
puffing against cheek, shoulder, hip
sensually slower,
magically faster.
do you want me, he said

my heart is pulled through my chest,
your fingers using inexorable strength
and softness.
it must be,
to feel so free and naked,
do you want me, he said

we are opposites,
pulling into each other with cosmic force,
matter and antimatter,
north and south poles,
yin and yang quickly spinning.
do you want me, he said

nothing dreamy about this.
this is real. the prickle
of your sweater on my cheek,
the sound of movement,
a pinch a bit too hard.
do you want me, he said

i drown in your mouth
and your tongue, delicate, brings me to shore.
our breaths are heavy, humid
in this new air.
no maps for this country, no right answers.
do you want me, he said

we use our eyes like instruments, seeking
under the ocean waves for something familiar.
look, that vague form-- is it
something we've seen before?
even my face is different.
do you want me, he said
