Chipping away at castle walls
Wincing, as bandages are ripped away
Peeling off layers of indifference
Invulnerable no more

Opening to you
Tender places in the soul
Fear nothing, we whisper
No harm will come to you

Scrape my heart raw
If that will bind us closer
Wounds let in the light

A passionate hunger consumes us
A need, to feel your pain
And you feel mine
Lick the bruise, it fades
Kiss the wound and it will close

Hot kisses, fever raging
The body sated, tingling, trembling
The soul in flight, buoyant with joy
Loving, merging, becoming you
As you become me

A sacred rite, completed
Soft touches on your nakedness
In the timeless dream of night.
