Do you remember the blood I shed for you?
Those soft voices, in the night
     Quieted
How my earth ran red for you?
Yet my love remains unrequited

Did I not guard your night
And protect the sanctity of your light
From each nocturnal fright
And catch your fall from every dream-borne flight

I have sinned in your name
Yet all I ask is a word
A sigh
A single breath would suffice
To
Tell me that you feel me
There
In the shadows
That you carry me
There
In the blood-red shadows of your heart
