Tiny beads of dew
Sliding southwards
Onwards
Yearning to fall
Into the delta of Venus
The lush tropics
Their heated aroma
A shrouded flower
Opening its petals
Under the gaze
Of her lover’s eyes
She blooms again
Her musky perfume
Mysterious, yet tantalising
Inciting
Exciting
Driving
Towards a cry
A sigh
The flower fades
Its dark rose wilts
Sated
Content to sleep
With you
