As you swim through green,
grass murmurs
and your tongue flounders to and fro
lathering everything.
You dance around a tree,
hunting for pleasure.

The smell of sex
glides to your nostrils,
races through your head
like a virus,
and is a siren
crying out for you
until your only choice
is to move.

Undaunted by barked threats,
instincts whip and crush
as your paws pound pavement
through murderous territory
that stabs you deep.
Your destination looms
at the peak of the hill.

You amble up to a white picket barrier.
Like an addict
you frantically howl
for an opening
but you must pull out.
The heat is burning.
