Green eyes, with golden threads like spangles run
I cannot see them now in neon glow
Nor from moonlight bathing the stonecutter’s door
Secluded nook to escape the thronging flow

Ten thousand souls around had left their shell
Distressed not by our rendezvous
To find a private moment in the night
Immersed in wine and gentle song and you

Your scent, the silken softness of your ear
The shimmering heat electric in its charm
My lips against the velvet of your neck
Enticing pulse, your breast against my arm

I hear your whispers feeling now each breath
Upon my cheek each word a beckoning thrill
Such stolen moments we could only share
Hearts of thunder silence couldn’t still

Beyond the soulful music sounds its pulse
Your skirt I lift to breathe your moist sighs
Your hands alone upon my trembling need
I smell your nectar lifting wide your thighs

Against the shadowed door we lean afire
And mold to one another, grasping, stirred
With pounding hearts and hips and struggled gasps
Strive to stifle sounds—to be unheard

Midnight stars which roar and pound and crash
Drenched with sweat—no perspiration this
Explode to carry us along the wave
Still all stressful thoughts and consciousness

Tightly hold each other through the fall
And quell the beat still surging in our ears
Of rushing blood and sex and love and hope
Which binds us now and mortifies our fears.

Caught in cosmos, snatched by currents swift
Yet snagged by orders of the masses round
We step away now from our private den
And back into the drill of sentries sound.

Green eyes with golden threads like spangles run
Where is it now you’ve lead me, I don’t know
Yet be most certain purpose in myself
Where it is-- I’ve always longed to go.

.

I can see the work that went into this, and it is very good. It could shine with a little tightening and rewording, but maybe not. A very nice read.
