I struck the surface with my heel, paid obeisance to my muse;
Braced for the flood, I found instead the water curled
Around my ankles, tangled blankets and stone-trapped shadows.

There used to be a path here, clear roads and clear skies.
Pacing circles has deepened this fountain but
Failed to fill it. I'll try to enjoy the cracked white marble

Anyway.

good poem

I don't know what it's about though, good use of 'obeisance'. Maybe I'm just lazy. With an obeisant bow in homage, good game.
