an inverted sore
only clung closer
by attempts
to scratch
the itch of me

to hang around
hang in there
do what I can
blunt sharp edges
bother to listen
educate
embrace

carry
a sword
and a lantern
to see which one
I'll have to use
I've decided
to follow you
down paths unknown
up slippery stairs
to hell, to stars
