How can I cope when there is no hope,
I sit and cry all day,
but that's not really the right way,
need to pick myself up,
shake myself down,
Or I might just find that I drown.
Life pulls punches that hit below the belt,
such terrible pain from them is felt,
Where am I going with this life?
Hope is there I just cannot find the door,
I need your help to let the light shine through,
take my hand and guide me to the end,
the end of this darkness and back into the light,
Where I can see my future and live my life!
