The stark bright florescent lights blare as my moss-flecked gaze found royal purple and dirty grey-blue pooled to the surface, fading into vomit green and sickly yellow. An exact replica thrown in a frame gawks back; a flush body kneels before my own. White streaks appear on a fever background and I know four distinct claws have left their mark to appear with time. Tremors rip through my blush body when sharp white teeth bounce into the room with the same ferocity as your spiral-bound hair. I feel the intensity of your sparkling chocolate stare diving into my flesh and the radiating warmth of my face force it to view the monotonous rough carpeting. A light touch moves across my richly-colored puddles and I hear a soft sigh of sorry escape your throat. I look up to see the milk chocolate bursting with regret and overwhelming worry. In one fluid motion I draw you down to my level and immediately start prodding the dark pools proving they don’t ache. Tender assuring words and gentle contact help regain your footing and disregard regret. A blast of radiance and an unadulterated compliment send my vision straight to the droning carpet, face thick with discomfort. One slender finger pulls my self-conscious chin up into a lip smashing, teeth cracking embrace. My knees threaten to collapse as I follow the hypnotic scent of fresh earth and tender, violent passion folded into a single commanding presence that sends shocks of current throughout. The sinful smirk returns when it spots desperation.
