I live in the shadows of myself
Alone, but for my own thoughts
Then she comes, the light, the dawn
I look to her as my savior
But she won't, she can't
She is her own world
Near me, but orbiting
Drawing me in but pulling away
I need, I want
But that's not what matters
She is beautful, dangerous
She needs what I cannot give
And I need what she cannot give
I need, I want
But does she?
Her world is not mine
Mine is not hers
What is this that I feel?
I do not know, I cannot know
This is new, this is strange
The mind cannot comprehend
The hearts's depths
The future is a shroud
She makes me want to pierce it
To see what cannot be seen
To hear what can never be heard
I am mind
She is feeling
We are worlds apart
Our worlds so different
But the same
What has she done to me?
What have I done to her?
