I look within
and find a presence.
What has been quiet solitude
is now the beating of drums.
Self absorption is now
self-awareness.
The towering strength
of my masculinity is
calmed by gentleness
and compassion.
Singularity has given
away to thoughts of duality.
The cool placidity of my
soul burns with the forge`s
fire.
Measured words become a
flood of literal emotions.
In this rests a commonality.
