With pinstriped seriousness he states his case
SINCERE writ large across his face
but the blinking nose and spinning tie
make me think it's all a lie
in baggy pants and too-large shoes
he wails and moans and sings the blues
I'm waiting for the tears to drop
for him to realise and stop
this great facade, this fantasy
that there is no wool pulled over me
