Here I Am

running, laughing, talking
life rushes its merry way
and as we all well know
good times always feel they're here to stay

course they will tell you
we must take the good with the bad
but I'm here to tell you
sometimes it will get pretty sad

you gotta hang in there
that's what I always say
usually when I did that though
the other person felt this way

but here I am
keep telling myself this
just keep moving
you understand the gist

'cause we all know it's true
this too shall pass
can't just stop
life will go way too fast
