A woman screams. Heads turn away.
Ambivalence rains blows upon her body.
Screams pierce the soul while people shake their heads and turn away.
One man reaches his limit and acts.
In return for his courage he receives cold steel
And watches the life flow from his body.
The woman escapes.
The man is nobody.
Just someone who cared.
Cries of outrage reign. Questions are asked.
Why did he have to die? Who killed him?
I did. You did. We all did.
It's easy not to get involved.
No time to think, to care.
Death is easy, life is difficult.
Who was this man?
No one.
Just a hero.
