He’s gone.
This is a fact.

He left in the dead of night
With just a note
Not even telling you face to face

He’s gone.
This is a fact.

He left with one
with pretty lies
full of deceit
and vindictive ways

He left with one
I called friend

He’s gone.
This is a fact.

You miss him
Even after the way he left

You miss him

But what is it you miss??

His smile
that you could feel
Even on the phone?

His witty ways?
His charm?
His intelligence?

Do you miss then the conversation?
The closeness that was there
Even over the phone??

The subtle teasing of what he will
Do when he gets home to you?

Yes.
You miss all these things

Do you miss his lies?

His lies by omission
His subtle head games
knowing the trust you had in him
Knowing you would believe
Whatever he told you??

What is it exactly you miss??

Damn if I know now

Yes, too bad...for THEM

Their loss, not yours. They are beneath you and you are ten times more than they are. Liars belong together. You're not one of them and never will be. You're over and above that petty, highschool-type garbage.

You're better off...

Would you have been better off had he stayed, even knowing now what he was up to?

Would you have been better off, this "backstabbing" friend of yours continuing behind your back sleezing all over him, staying in your life?

You're better than that, Iso...much better. As I see it, you've won. You've won your life back and the two of them deserve one another. "What goes around comes around". Luckily, you won't be in the middle of their dung when it hits the fan.
