When the sun begins its slow decline

Prepare your mind, your body for the sacral rite

Bind your hair with artful care

For not a curl must be misplaced

Anoint your skin with unguents

Provocative, protective

Softening and seductive

Step out, naked onto sand

That jealously holds the zenith heat

And reflects the dipping glare

To burnish you in a holy glow

Haloed, divine Daughter of the Earth

Mother, Goddess, Sister, Lover

At the tidal water's edge

Where the land slides sharply to the sea

Lay down and let the water kiss

Your heels, soles of your feet

Let the heat retained beneath you

And the heat burned down above you

Soak deep into your skin

As the patient waves begin

To ease against your ankles

A push and pull massage

Bidding the blood to rise again

Spread your arms and legs out wide

And call upon the Father, Spirit of Ocean

Son and Seed, Brother, Lover

To come to you.

The answer is the breakers hiss

A constant bass susurrus

Yes, and yes and yes

The waters rise against your knees

The swell sinking your heels

Submerged in land and sea.

A hand feathers your thigh

Uncertain, seeking confirmation

Of your call, your invitation.

Press your buttock flesh deeper

Say yes, and yes, and yes

Foam, in a whispered breath

Stirs against your vulva, then retreats

A tease, as if you feel the smile

The smile that frees the lips to take

A first taste of your expectation.

The emboldening aphrodisiac

Releases at last the tongue

Lapping, ardent. Your hips now wholly

In the ocean's grasp, it sucks you

Greedy, grabs at the sand beneath you

Seeks to clasp and part your softest skin

Your fingers and your toes dig in to the sands

As now a hundred tongues, a thousand hands

Press below your breasts trying to own

The whole of you.

Beckoning your fertility

The fingers butterfly upon your nipples

Claim and raise the whole weight of your breasts

Waves push and glide, reveal

The half restrained weight of the Ocean's urgency.

It pierces skin in one smooth penetration

Filling you only to withdraw,

But with the walls now breached it drives again

The patience lost.

Your belly tenses, building with the pummelling force

The moan that breaks your stillness, lifts your knees

And plants your feet more firmly, raises up your hips

The Ocean surges deeper

Possession sought without, within

You win and you surrender

In the rhythm of high tide the Ocean rides your body

Scouring every nerve

Your body sails the Ocean, guiding

With the deftest touch the boundless energy.

All pretence of seduction is long past

The vast fecundity demands you, draws you

Paws you, glorying in the buoyancy of your breasts

It rests a fraction plunged inside

It grasps, pulls wide, subsides and presses

Relentless, leaving a moment for your gasp

Before a violence of kisses on every dermal inch

Heaving in a starving repetition until

Your feet flex away, your toes curl in

Your knees lock out, your hips strain up

Your shoulders down, your head turns back

Your skin shrinks, seizing your body

In a long exhaling breath

The sea subsides. A sated, seasoned lover

Reluctant to be parted as

The passion ebbs. Caresses linger gently

In reverse, you sink into a hollow carved out

By the battering throes,

Farewell kisses wash and honour every part.
