it started with a flicker
a tiny little light
as i was pulled deeper
it started burning bright

my soul drew from his power
my body from his touch
my mind began to wonder
how I desired him so much

not a passing need
nor a fleeting thought
i wanted him forevermore
it's all my passion sought

giving him my essence
breaking from my past
handing him my battered heart
feeling it beat... at last

it's more than infatuation
more than sexual desire
more than a want to be only his
it set my love on fire

I want to be it all for him
a better person, sub, and more
i want to be the one he seeks
he wants, he loves, and he'll adore

I want to bring him comfort
to hold him when he sleeps
the ear he'll tell his dreams to
and the one he wants for keeps

his conversations fueled the flicker
his thoughts built it steady
actions keep it burning
I'm open, hot, and ready
