Creeping ever slowly over polished floor of granite
Softly padded soles whisper of urgent undoing
Quiet stillness of midnights darkened rooms
Eyes scanning; beadily peering into nothingness
Hallowed halls leading nowhere
Evil seeps into every crack and corner
Filling the lungs with baked blackness
Snickering sneak; careless with his conscience
Thieveries most foul; the taking of innocence
From every room he enters and leaves
Behind the raped remnants of I;
Who will always be his fool.
