His Last Walk (Wedding Vows)

His last walk,
Step by step,
You remember that talk,
That was his prep,
Before he plunged into the darkness...
He's giving his life for you,
You'd have done the same too,
But his authority was much to strong,
He makes you think any other way is wrong,
Too much was at stake for you to go,
So many people that you know,
That love you and care,
And when needed,
They were always there,
In comparrison - his life is nothing,
Just a butcher doing the cutting,
He's dealt the winning blow,
But at the cost of his life,
Swiftly, away it is thrown,
The sacrifice of a husband for his wife,
Someone had to own up,
Someone had to take the blame,
Someone had to loose in this over-realistic game,
The things you do for the ones you love,
But once it's done is it enough?
You only respect the little things when they're gone,
One small action can change the future,
So consider carefully, and end the torture.
