The taste of her honey lips
Ash on my tongue
Riding the blurred edges of reason
To the allure of her hips

Rivulets of red
The blade to my heart
A lamb to the slaughter
On a four poster bed

Despair has possessed
What hope never would
My diseased life flowing
From the hole in my chest

The sparkle in her eyes
Taught me to trust
You know they gleamed
Drowned in green lies

Far colder than before
My reflection cast
An emptiness to grow
Beaten, and sore

And I am hollow
