Hollow,
craving to
be filled, no
light to pull away
the shadows that plague me
like the throws of indecision haunting
my present, my past, and even future.
Suffer not the unclean to live, but persist
I continue to do. What life do I lead
if I can not perform those tasks which I'm ordained?
Even though I am no longer afraid, I wait
with baited breath and cautious peal. For what
I am certain will be my downfall.
Yet each step I take closer
to you, I am comforted
by the fact that
I do love,
and will
love.
