It's a pleasure to burn
the images left over
to see them turn
into something new.
I want to bleed
or to scream
don't want to need
you and all
your magic ways and
your attachment
to me and
these pathetic lies
of understanding.

Still unbroken stare
reflecting as relaxed
forcing a smile
brittle as glass
before I enter
the deaf forever
doorway home.
I deserve your anger.
