The east wind blows again.

I climb the hill in silence
Northern sky above me.
The Immortals sit high in the Pavilion
My disdain for them shall never cease.
White wine satisfying their jade cups
When will they let me be?
Mystical aurora envelopes the Moon
It no longer enchants me.

Northern lapwing calls amid the birch trees
Pleasing but not soothing my heart.
My mind travels back aimlessly to the southern land
Alas the waters surround me.
