Honestly I could not count,
How many times I’ve cried.
For it was weakness,
In your eyes.

Honestly the days drag on,
With an everlasting pain.
Something you drilled into me,
To push past and be the best.

Honestly my heart has been broken,
Trying to please you.
Doing something I would not do,
And will not again.

Honestly I am stronger now,
I’ve taken back my path.
You have no more say,
Not to displease you.

Honestly its time I live,
Life for myself.
How I want to live,
Honestly.

She's determined...

Strong words that show she has made her decision. Very well done.
