Honesty as Self-Preservation

Coddled & swaddled
Swallowed & fondled
Floundering, I follow -
Find & feast through-
Blood, search, and toil.
Spoiled, I crouch down
Squandering spoils,
Lips wet with Red Death

Masked, the dissolution follows.
A perverse imp, I'm Poe's pet.
Set, with teeth wet -
A dreaming dragon - hollow.
Tears met with forced flesh,
I follow, Loose limbs -
I'm honest. Foregoing semantics,
I'm frantic. Panting,
I rant less. Resting,
I'm helpless - Helping,
I'm selfish. Granted,
I'd sell flesh. Not to be
Confused with self-less,
I want more for my self-sense.
Multi-privileged, I'm restless -
Not to mention, I seek help.

ok the verse, some good word play so I am ok with it. You kinda do vitrol, so fits what I've read previously from you.

Lots of words

but they don't mean much. Perhaps you should think about what you want to say first.
