I was lost in the blackest of hopelessness.
And then you came. Angel.
You could bring the dead back to life.
You ignited a flame in me.
Against better judgment I began to hope again.

You gave me hope.
And then you took it all away.
You took it all away.

Now I realise you planted a seed and watched it die in me.
ignited a flame, stood back and watched it burn inside me.

I had hope and you took it all away.
You took it all away.

And now things are blacker than they where before you came.
Devoured by darkness.
I was ruined by your festering core.
You've reminded me of the evil in nature.
The nature in evil.
I was a puppet, dancing to your strings.
I see you surrounded by smiles.
If only they knew.

I hope one day you burn in the same fire I do.
What do you know, I have hope.
My only hope.

I had hope.
And you took it all away.
You took it all away.
