Hopeful Haikus

byseannelson©

each swoosh and bang on
the hoop awakens me more
than morning coffee

a bright and overcast
day... a series of swooshes
brings me well earned joy

a tired, atheist monk...
my candles burn for the hope
of voluptousness

quite scared, walking out
of Dunkin Donuts with
Anna... primal now!

grasping for a plan,
I serve tennis balls without
really being present

poor Bradley Knowell,
his music helps revive me...
gone to the needle

playing a game of
Monopoly, I realized the
miraculous brain
